The Understanding of Difference between Sex and Gender among Secondary Level Students in Nepal

The International Conference on Population and Development (ICPD) which Nepal is a signatory of, identifies sexuality education as human right. Right to comprehensive education also protected by many other international right treaties. Sexuality education, crucial among adolescents, vast subject and awareness of the difference between sex and gender initial most important part education. Learning about differences in sexual identities respecting those differences can put children much safer place, less vulnerable physical mental exploitations and make aware against based violence, abuse, exploitation harmful practices. study particularly focuses finding out if senior students school are about basic sexuality education, i.e. sex gender. data information required for was collected through survey questionnaire desk text books' content review. required this done from January till February 2020. major findings reveal that students of secondary level have heard teachers seniors talk often but not actually understood words curriculum seem insufficient ineffective dealing with topics finding of shows approximately 19% total respondents had some understanding Through one can get an idea how ineffective and insufficient when it comes education because schools unaware topic which falls under and gender.
